The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested senior Trinamool Congress leader Anubrata Mondal from his residence in Bolpur for allegedly not cooperating in its probe into a cattle smuggling case, an official said.
Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma said the parties shall file brief written submissions not exceeding five pages.
A division bench of Justices A S Gadkari and SG Dige said the media reports have said the information is from Central Bureau of Investigation sources.
The CBI also informed that Karti Chidambaram will come back to India on May 24 and he has been directed to appear before them in 16 hours.
